Time to Dust ourselves off and Gather again for a surely delightful 2010 of the Yellow Swarm!
Dalton's Roadhouse Restaurant in San Marcos is a great venue to gather ...meet new and seasoned Yellow Swarmers.
For those not familiar with this venue, it ia gathering of people and their cars...all types.
The Yellow Swarm parks together - so the more Yellow we have the better!
We have gathered here once a year in the past.
There is a $10 Bar B Que lunch available starting at noon. There is also the restaurant indoors to eat. Dalton's has an old-fashioned roadhouse and saloon atmosphere which is known for their mouthwatering steaks, barbecue, and prime rib.
There will be raffles...interesting prizes and awards given out for various categories of car-dom....I have even won an award in the past...so anything is possible.
Plans:
I plan to get there early to save parking spaces...so if you tell me you will be there I will know how many spots to save. You are welcome...please to arrive early and keep me company - I plan on arriving at 9:30.
Other car groups arrive early too...Bar B Que is at noon...raffle starts near 2pm and awards follow....should be wrapped up by 3pm.
It has been very enjoyable in the past. People marvel at our Yellowness!
It is delightful to be Marveled at!
I will have postcards to share...new t-shirts to display and share and some caps and visors too.
